[When the book opened, it pretty much looked like someone, or in this case a pink cat a-like, stared down at this journal curiously. Probably expected some pictures at least because, hey, it's a book! It drew his head back so now everyone had a good look at it. Mew tilted it's head to one side.]

Mew?

[No pictures... Where are the pictures?]

[Action:]

[After Mew was done playing with the journal, it was time to explore. Mew zipped around the trees levitated until it found a village ahead. The cat-like Pokemon paused and hid itself behind a tree. Mew peeked from there to see the village. Mew had doubts to enter this village or not when it saw the residence, and they all had wings? Mew had to look back at it's wing too with a second thought. Mew let out a faint cry before it's body glowed. It began to shift and taken a form of a Pidgey ...with a pair of mini pink wings on the back. Guess it'll worry about that later.

The transformed Pidgey let out a chirp like a pigeon and begun to flew over the village. This little Pidgey could be found on anywhere with good heights such as light poles, roof tops, and closed windowsills. If not, it probably was bathing at the town's fountain. Refreshing.]

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

[Sokka continues peering around the corner, carefully observing the Pidgey to see how he moves and how his attention goes from thing to thing. After a few moments, he's thoroughly convinced that his soon-to-be meal isn't going to fly off or even be a challenge to catch. Sokka smiles with an almost devious grin. This is going to be easy.

He waits particularly for Mew to be looking the other way, and then he lets his boomerang loose. It arcs wide and high so that it'll curve back and smack the bird on the head. Well, provided nothing happened to ruin Sokka's luck.

Naturally.]

[Luck was on Sokka's side, this time, as the boomerang successfully hit the back of the bird's head along with a Pidgey cry. It delivered a blow enough to knock the bird Pokemon off it's perch as gravity has taken over and down it went into a bush.

Even though the boomerang had hit, it didn't meant the Pokemon was down for the count. After it fell and hit the ground, Mew's transformation reverted back to it's original form, the pink cat with a tail twice as long as it's body. It would of taken more physical attacks to knock this Pokemon down (HP over 5000). Mew remained in the brush shaken it's head from the hit followed with a 'mew'. It remained in place while it tried to collect itself. Important question, what just hit him?]

[Sokka rejoices inside with his target successfully hit and knocked from his perch. The boomerang sputters off in a slightly different arc, so Sokka takes his eyes off his prey for a moment and immediately jumps out from cover a few feet to leap into the air and catch it on the return arc. He gives his boomerang a kiss to thank it for its luck.]

You never fail me, do you?

[Sokka immediately rushes onward to where the bird fell, knowing that it wouldn't have gone far. It had to be in the brush somewhere or else he'd have heard it flap off. (And besides, it probably would've had its wings injured from that height, right?) Sokka sorts through the bushes to find his downed bird.]

[Through the brushes where Sokka searches for the little bird, he will find a fairly medium bird, a Pidgeotto, staring dead on to the young man. If possible, face-to-face with wings already up and ready.

Whatever you do Sokka....

Don't. Blink.]

[When Sokka discovers the bird he supposedly downed, two things come to Sokka's surprise. First is the fact that the bird is actually still very much alive and awake. The second is...

that it's not the same bird. And it looked very much non-plussed to see him.]

What the...?

[He pulls back his arms defensively in a reaction, scampering back a few feet away from the shrub. His eyes bug out a bit, staring back at the bush, more than a little bit startled and rattled.]

[After watching Sokka scampering back, the semi-large bird now flaps it's wings creating very little gust, like a breeze. The bird pokemon takes off to the sky with a 'Pidgeo' call. It might even let out a couple squawks like it's laughing at the guy before making a clean get away, or so it's thinking that.]

[Sokka still isn't quite certain if the bird is a different one than the one he downed or the same one and somehow magical, but that the bird is cawing like it's bigger than him doesn't go down well with Sokka.]

Oh no you don't!

[Sokka throws his boomerang upward again, though this time not carefully aimed. He'll look for the original bird afterward.]

[Look while you can Sokka. Because as the boomerang comes towards the bird, there's a flash of light before it disappears along with the bird, Teleportation!

Sorry Sokka.

Wild Pidgeotto ran away!]

[Sokka watches the boomerang sail higher and higher... and then... shazam!

... no more bird.

... no more dinner.

Sokka's jaw drops down in comic disbelief. He just stands frozen in place, eye bugged out, staring at the sky where there used to be one delicious chicken sandwich flying away. He's so stunned, he doesn't even bother to make a motion to catch the boomerang, which falls back to the earth a few feet from him.]

Stupid bird. Stupid Luceti.
